I had the best experience in my whole life! Ole received a last minute call that he was to go to The Contender Asia, because another Contender got injured (he broke his arm). Introducing Zidov Akuma

My name is Zidov and I was born on April 22, 1981 in Zurich, Switzerland. My mother and father are from ex-Yugoslavia. Already when I was a small kid I was a trouble-maker. I don’t know why, because my mother and father gave me everything I needed. I was good in soccer so my parents had the hope that I would maybe become a professional player one day. The chance was there but I took the wrong path with drugs, bad friends and lived the life of a criminal.

Koh Samui - Thailand

Starting in Samui was easy because my friend Dzhabar from The Contender Asia was here and we train in same gym. I’m very happy that I can stay here with Dzhabar. I can learn a lot from him, although he is only 22. I think he is one of the biggest talents in the world with a big future ahead of him.

I live with Dzhabar as my neighbor. Sometimes, friends from The Contender come visit us here in Samui, like Jucke Joakim Karlsson. He is our “pappy” (haha!) because he is an old man in the sport, as he is 36 years old.
